“Sister Anne” is presently Mary K. Farran
Having received laicization from 33 years as a cloistered Discalced Carmelite nun. During Holy Week 2011, she heard a locution telling her that Christians were heading into a major persecution, that she was to strengthen their faith and to promote a new religious Order. In 1846, during the apparition at LaSalette, Our Lady had dictated a Rule for a new Marian congregation. Melanie explained to Pope Leo XIII that she was not the one to found the new Order because it was for the “Latter Times.” Encouraged by her superiors and sisters, Sister Anne of Yahweh left the cloister to receive two year’s training with an active religious congregation (S.O.L.T). Then the Vatican dispensed her from vows so she can be free to develop a new congregation. She returned to her home diocese of Wichita, Kansas. Under the direction of her pastor she works with lay “Theotokans” on various apostolates of the Order. She gives many talks with novel insights regarding Mary’s apparitions and their importance for our times.
